The cable housings look like a good idea.
But...there's a copper tube going from the vac port on the carb to the petcock. What? I guess remembering to turn the petcock off each night is a lot of trouble :-)

He left the disk brake on it?

And that's stock belt length, right?

Well, it is an interesting approach.....more of a looker than a bike you would want to ride for any distance.

I wouldn't want to ride it.  Foot clutch, hand shift, vintage style tires, no rear suspension and a primitive front suspension, a seat that looks like you will slide off the back, a headlight that lights up the front leaf spring, no front fender and a rear fender that won't keep the tire from throwing stuff up your backside.

He did make the clutch work with both the foot pedal when you are shifting gears, and the clutch lever when you are stopped but already in gear.

I'd ride it!  Probably not very far of very often, but I'd ride it for sure. :)

The kickstand would work a bit better if the end touched the ground, and the front of the spring held on with wing nuts ?How many bumps  before they fall off? and why the guide on the belt ?It's a hardtail. How do you lube the steel cable running from the foot pedal clutch ? how long before the cable running around all the bends ,saws through the copper and jams? It's a show piece ,I wouldn't be taking it on any long trips.

Our approach to a bike speaks volumes about our perspective on committed relationships, ultimately taking on the form of a biker's "Rorschach."

Dave - "more of a looker than a bike you would want to ride for any distance."
Ohiomoto - "I'd ride it!  Probably not very far of very often, but I'd ride it for sure."
