Title: Borax Wagons
Post by Dave on 07/13/17 at 05:05:03

I stumbled across these YouTube videos the other day.....they made brand new Borax wagons from scratch!  The vintage craftsmanship is incredible.  There are multiple videos and some of them are very long - but you can skip around and fast forward to see the highlights.  It is amazing to think how they can reproduce all this work....and it highlights how good the Craftsman were 100+ years ago.  I guess this is the vintage equivalent of making a Peterbuilt or Freightliner!

Studebaker and I think International Harvester both made wagons during the civil war and beyond. And then came the ICE !

We get Death Valley Days, and Twenty mule team Borax sponsored it and some stories are about the wagons and things that happened.
And they are based on true stories.

Okay, so, the wagons evolved into huge things.. But I wonder what the progression of the wagons looked like.
