Title: Is this a head gasket leak?

Got some images of the bike today and this oil is new.  Happened in the past 800 miles or so.  Gasket or more likely head plug maybe?

Im gonna go with head gasket/sealant is done. There is no gasket between the rocker cover and the actual head. To me, if it was the plug leak it would be lower and more on the cylinder. It is pretty easy to pop off the cover clean it up, check your plug, re-seal and test ride.

That tall bolt, just in front of the Decompression lever, is a sealing bolt for the head cover.
It is currently doing nothing.
Find a piece of metal tube to slide over the bolt so that the nut can tighten against it. (or a stack of washers)
That may cure your leak... 8-)

Ahh that explains why its a new thing, there was a cover on it but I mailed it to someone looking for one.

Washers for now, new cover later.
