Why do you say that?  How does that comment relate to the story I posted?

So, you don't agree that it's better to get donations in small amounts from private citizens.  You support dark money and super PACs?

Did you click on the link and read the story?

Did you read about Cloward and Piven?
Explain what it is.

Thanks for proving my point about combativeness.

This is not an article about cloward and piven (who postulated about the overcrowding of welfare blah, blah, blah.)

Try to stay on point here, huh?

I posted a link about an election in Montana.  if you don't want to comment on it - don't.

But don't pollute the thread with claptrap about C&P and the oncoming dystopia.

It's getting really old....

I'm tired, too, so, how about this?
Expose yourself to information that would enlighten you and allow you to see the bigger picture, lets talk about these things. Then, you will understand that combative nature. It's the result of YEARS of trying to get the members of the Dumbmasses to understand what we are up against.
If your information that you have used to develop the grasp of reality that guides you is Available without going hunting, you're misinformed.
Ask yourself WHY Cloward and Piven did that study. Who asked them to do it and who paid?
And why are we doing what they warned against?
The whole Left Right paradigm is a game.
Getting people to see they are members of a destructive force is hard. You're not stupid, so, read.

No, this is how it works.

I posted this article, not you.

If you want to post about C&P or whomever, go ahead - create another post/thread.  Then you can make all the wild claims you want on there.  But sadly, no one will comment because you'll paint them as not understanding, or whatever.  I'd post my opinion and stay on topic - not mention tweety at all.... as it should be.

You see, I opened this thread with a simple wish - that our politicians get back to smaller, individual campaign donations.

If you can't get behind that - then own it.  If you love CU, then own it.  If you don't like the politician in question - then own that.

Don't try and steer into a narrative that has nothing to do with the original post.

That's where the problem lies.

Next time, try to stay on the topic of the thread.

I've started Many threads, only to watch the Dumbmasses declare everything wild claims, never investigated, just declared insane conspiracy theory, so, I'll be around, doing what I want.
Go read.

More power to ya - but don't expect a good give and take if you only give and don't take.

*Sigh* again, that's not the issue of this thread - but I'll be nice to you (I'm not sure why)...

Yes, I know of C&P and how they postulate on the secret plan of the powerful/democrats of purposely collapsing the welfare system and then establishing a servitude society.  I think they're off their rocker.  Why - what's the point of that happening?  I have more faith in people than that - I don't mean politicians, I mean people in the general populace.

As to Charlotte Iserbyt - I never paid any attention to what she's written because I think it's more paranoia than anything.  My experience in the educational system shows me none of what she portends.

Sorry to break your bubble - I've been well aware of the things you've posted long before you posted them.  Like I said before, I don't subscribe to a dystopian future.

Why should you? You're a tool for chiseling out our dystopian present.
You say you have read about it, but can't see that it's being done. Phhht.

LOL - wow... smh - why do I even try?

So no comments on the Montana election that this thread is about, huh?

Typical.... oh well...

Have a great night jog (although I think that's probably impossible...)

The Future of politics is just a continuation of the idiocy of the past.
Our Elected representatives work for someone else.
