Question related to bushing size and I saw your post below -

I'm putting in larger risers that use 1.5 x 13 thread bolts so I need to upgrade from stock bushings to accommodate, do you (or anyone) know the diameter of the bushing holes?  Want to be sure before buying the wrong size, which is how I got into this predicament already ha

This is the part I am hoping to use -
Brand      Biker's Choice
Model      Biker's Choice Flush Mount Handlebar Bushing Kit
Item Weight      12 ounces
Product Dimensions      3 x 2.6 x 1.1 inches
Manufacturer Part Number      48-2512

Thanks!  And what up Denton, TX!  My hometown :)

Suzuki Factory Risers

Both the Allen bolts in the top of the risers, and the studs coming out of the bottom of the risers are:

10 MM x 1.25 threads    This is a finer thread than the common pitch which is 1.5 threads

Well, 1st it appears that you're using risers made for Harleys.
The bolt size is 1/2-13

Our damper will accommodate a M10 bolt, or .394"
You'll have to pull out the steel bushing to get that 1/2" bolt in.
It's not glued in.  If you want to replace it with a larger one, you'll probably have to drill out the rubber.  I don't think there is a replacement that you can just buy and shove in.

Yup Harley riser for that extra inch of height not offered otherwise with these.  I've taken the bushing/dampener assembly apart before and it went back without much hassle, its that now I need to replace the bushings for the larger thread bolt that I need for new risers but I am not sure the measurements of the bushing assembly hole diameter.

I will probably just take them out and measure, post the result here, but I was hoping to order the new bushings beforehand and not have to take it all apart twice :)
