Title: Clutch Lever Parts
Post by oceantransistor on 04/22/17 at 15:50:22

Hi,

I was at the light the other day and pressed the clutch lever to switch to first from neutral. I heard a high pitched pop, it was the clutch cable tension. Luckily I was able to roll the bike back to my driveway since it was at the corner. Unfortunately I could not find the clamping parts that hold the cable to the lever when I went searching.

Does anyone know if these little parts can be bought separately or do I have to buy the whole lever assembly?

Has anyone MacGrubbered it?

Links and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :D

Google "knarp" or "cable end" or "cable stop"

Based on what you said. Just buy a new clutch cable. It is possible to solder a new ferrule on but a new cable is not too expensive.

All the parts of the lever assembly can be bought separately

If the end of the cable is what broke, a new cable is about 23 dollars here:
