Hey all,

I'm thinking about going from the stock 2006 s40 risers and drag bars to the short stock risers and buckhorns off an older Savage.

1. Think I'll need new cables? The stock set up I have now looks like they might be close

2. Is there a thread yet with instruction to swap bars? I've searched but haven't seen a step-by-step here yet.

The buckhorn cables are a little longer than the drag bar cables.
But you may be able to stretch them to fit.
