Title: At a Loss For Words
Post by DieselBob on 04/17/17 at 18:33:21

Obviously an LS400 and thus still in the Savage family. I'm surprised how much of the stock frame he used. And the fact that he utilized the factory swingarm mounts. Clearly a longer belt. But, is that the stock drive pulley?

I want that swingarm. I don't see how the rear shock attaches though. Is there one?

Handlebars don't work for me. Guy shulda welded up a set of drag bars from a coupla old rifle barrels

Wonder if it's got a versy cam chain adjuster. Those might be hard to get after the apocalypse.

I was feeling pretty good when I got up this morning......now I am feeling a bit ill. :-[

I guess it is some form of art....surely it was not built this way to improve the riding experience!

Theme bikes, Ahhhh, so enticing.
I'm taken back to the days when I was so enthralled by the various rides available to me for a dime, just outside the grocery store. It felt dumb, then.

There are some interesting bits on the bike.

The rear pulley is sitting right next to a huge disc brake.  The front pulley has been moved outward to align with the relocated rear pulley.

I can't identify the source of the swing arm, rear wheel or front wheel.

I believe that the swingarm is custom fabricated. Look at the attachment point and follow that back to the wheel...that's an OEM swingarm hidden in there.

If that's the case here's my question; how does someone with that type of fabrication skills craft such an ugly bike?

And that front wheel!

Made for another Mad Max movie? The Gibster may be a bit too old for that stuff now.

I'm surprised there's no G.I.Joe with a knife planted in Stretch Armstrong's chest on it somewhere.

He made one really grave mistake, when he loaded his ammo can & front fender with rounds, he grabbed the wrong box.  None of them will fit his weapon, they are way too large.  When he gets in a fire fight he's gonna be dead. Daaa ta daaa.  Rest is pieces.

Oh, betcha the creator of this machine can be seen in the 2nd photo, just above the ammo can, black long sleeved shirt with white "something" on the back, and a POINTY hair "style" ... or ...  ::)

He's got dual exhausts; nicely made tank with gerry can handles on top so you can pick the bike up and take it with you if you run out of gas; a trip wire attached to the 2 grenades on the take for a nice "fire for effect", and what looks like a burning cigarette as a timer as back up; rear shock on the front forks;  yep, nice touches.

Can I like it, and hate it, at the same time?... :-?

Front "fender" has better tread than his tires.

I went as far as the second photo and I just couldn't look anymore. It made me sick to my stomach.

One of his mirrors is pointed back'erds.  What's up with that?
So anyone in front of him lookin' backwards will still be able to see forward?  Sort of a weird, dystopian infinite law of regression?

Naw, the rider has two peg legs, one's a ma-deuce and the other is a 30.
