Anyway, today we got a new order from a MAJOR carrier, who's first name is the same as the states of America.... You are free to speculate which airlines that might be.... They want us to design and build them a whole new fleet, of a new designed aircraft.... Instead of wide body, they want wide isles, so it's easier to drag passengers off the plane ;D |

I had a small backpack for my "carry on", and a large gym bag style of luggage to be checked at a fee of $25 (the 2nd bag would have been $ 35 if I had one). My boarding was one of the later groups after the majority of the more important passengers had boarded. The majority of the passengers had avoided checking a bag and paying the extra fees by bringing on board "2" pieces of very large carry on bags - the majority of them were too big to fit under the seat so they were stuffed into the overhead bins - so when I boarded there were no longer any overhead bins available....no problem as my small backpack could fit under the seat in front of me. I was completely amazed by the size of the luggage that the folks were allowed to bring onto the plane. |

Not the flight portion (I am a pilot after all) but the delays, indignity and having to deal with an all too rude general public. The day I retire I don't think I'll get on a airline flight ever again. |

My wife will snag first class when offered at a discount, that is way better, but still, you are packed in like sardines with not enough personal space for my comfort.... And it will get worse. The market wants more seats, and only one isle, so you will really be squeezed :( |

Now the flights are expensive, luggage is $25 each, no meals, and the flights are so oversold they have to drag folks off the plane! |
