Greetings, savagery friends.

Finally I bought the savage. Well maintained, but with already about 75,000 km. or 46.600 miles. No timing chain change.
The tensor in the last. And I ask myself a question:
Is it enough with an extension of the can chain tensioner, or for its km is it necessary to change the full timing chain? Is it possible to break it by its use, or by adjusting the tensioner can I lengthen its life even longer?

I would be grateful if someone would give me their opinion of what to do ... :-?

Unless you have been the sole owner, I would doubt it's never been changed. Our longest so far has been 33,000 miles.

Yes you could extend it, but if it does have that many miles on a single cam chain you might consider checking it very closely for any stiff links.
Or just replace it.

I think the same that you. They look like miles. Although they confirm that they have not made any changes.
The chain seems to be fine. The fear is that it breaks without warning, although there is a devate in that the chains are broken or not, depending more on a bad lubrication than of use ...
According to the state of the tensor, could i use the chain a little more? 3000 or 6000 miles? With an extension, of course.
And so I can recover from the purchase of savage.

Suzuki has a measurement for the "out of spec" length of the cam chain, and the weird part is that you will never reach that number before the cam chain tensioner comes apart. If you use a Verslagen or make your own extension I believe the chain can be used for a second time and then it gets to the "out of spec" length.

The chain is not nearly kissing. Unless it's stiff, I'd run it.

Definitely get the Versy modification from Verslagen in a hurry though...that thing is barely hanging on there...

The chain could probably wait but while you have it open you can get one of the Nitrided chains for cheap from Lancer...

For now, I will use the current timing chain for a while longer with a can chain tensioner with extension.
In the near future my idea is to change this timing chain (Lancer?)...
Now what I want is to leave it operational and to be able to use it for a while.
