Because I went on a 3 state bike trip a couple weeks ago and revisited one of the best roads I've ever ridden. Granya Gap is a pass through some mountains (you guys'd call them hill but I digress) 14 km of mostly perfect road surface, wonderful challenging fun fast corners non stop most of the way, 110 speed limit, no crowds and no police. If you watch the vid, the speed advisory signs are in KPH, not MPH. We did the Bonang Highway as well. It's 100km + of non stop bends. Too much fun.
I haven't ridden since the trip, apart from work and getting withdrawals.

One of my favorite rides. Avalanche Alley.....North of Idaho City on Highway 21. Too bad it's covered under 30 some feet of snow right now. Not my video, and I ride at a little more leisurely pace. :)
