Title: Front footpegs Post by sanodusa on 03/06/17 at 13:12:09 I just purchased an 02 Savage and have to replace the front pegs. I tried a rear peg to maybe use temporarily but the left side one goes downward with pressure on it. Can anyone help. |

Title: Re: Front footpegs Post by Ed L. on 03/08/17 at 12:45:56 It's possible to get a generic Harley type foot peg and drill out the mounting hole so it fits the Savage through bolt. I was able to do it to a cheap set I picked up used after buggering up the stock set on my '02. |

Title: Re: Front footpegs Post by sanodusa on 03/11/17 at 10:52:44 Thanks ohiomoto I may take you up on the offer if I can't find anything. The harley peg thing is what I was thinking at first but am leary about it wanting to go downward. My thinking right now is cutting some 1/2 inch square tubing 6 inches long and drilling a whole through it. I think it would work perfectly fine what do ya'll think? |
