Title: Helmet lock relocation Post by T140V on 02/22/17 at 22:43:37 After relocating my turn signals due to saddle bag installation I wanted to make a helmet lock that was out of the way of heat or paint. That being said I chose the handle bars. I made one of these for my Triumph but the S40 bars are different. Here is a pic to start with. It looks like a handlebar weight. |

Title: Re: Helmet lock relocation Post by T140V on 02/22/17 at 23:03:11 Something locked up. To big of a pic. I'll try again. I place the d ring into the slot underneath then push it back in and the helmet hangs without touching the tank |

Title: Re: Helmet lock relocation Post by T140V on 02/23/17 at 01:43:14 I made them in my garage. It's all about customizing in a small way. :) |
Title: Re: Helmet lock relocation Post by batman on 02/23/17 at 16:18:16 You could sell a few in the market place! I know I'd be interested. |
Title: Re: Helmet lock relocation Post by justin_o_guy2 on 02/23/17 at 16:31:26 I got a flexible, rubber coated loop lock for a gun. Goes around the handlebars and the chin guard. The OEM setup is an invitation for some jakkass to dump a coke in my helmet. |
Title: Re: Helmet lock relocation Post by T140V on 02/23/17 at 23:45:12 I've never had that happen but I put my gloves in the helmet just in case. I figure it's better than just hanging it on the mirror. It keeps the honest people honest. |

It's a modified Cessna 172B 180hp with a constant speed prop. It was either buy a pickup truck or that. Actually the plane was cheaper. |
