I'm wondering how many miles you guys are getting on your front brake pads before they're worn out ? I bought this bike and it is supposed to have 4800 miles on it but the front disc pads are paper thin so I replace them . Another thing I found was the oil filter did not have an O-ring on it so I placed one that I had under the new Hi-Flow filter . Hmm I could go on with all the little things but I was wondering more about the brake pads.

That's about normal for OEM pads.
Better pads exist.

Aren't the ceramic pads a little hard on the rotors?

I tried a set of EBC X compound once, and the front brake was pretty anemic as a result. The EBC Organic pads work really well.

yes, i changed mine to EBC pads as well.those are the best pads to me
