Title: A New Year beckons.... Post by raydawg on 12/31/16 at 08:51:24 As we look upon a new opportunity, using the gauge of a calendar, as reference....... I hope we ALL can see the folly of the past year. How we invested in what was not worthy. How we defaulted to hope, instead of picking up the tools of honesty, and sincerity, and forging a new path to follow. How we took, instead of gave. How we blamed, instead of accepting responsibility. How we hid, instead of walking boldly. How we were part of the problem, and not the solution. Can we do better? Yes, if your heart is true. Repair begins with that of which you/we can control, self. Reflect, look, seek..... We ALL have the riddles answer our-self. I don't need affirmation. Its not real, but contrite and loath. Who can give to you, what you won't give to yourself? I know where the new years course resides. Within. I will seek it with a brutal honesty. When I fail, I won't quit. I will always know what I seek lies ahead of me, not behind. I accept the New Year on its own accord. All that it brings, all that it takes. I will be a member, a participant. Of the human race. Till the end, my friends..... HAPPY NEW YEAR
