Title: Adjustable levers? Post by zipidachimp on 12/30/16 at 00:58:45 Anyone try adjustable levers? I'd like to bring them closer to the bar without losing any pull. Can only find sportbike types for 7/8" bars :( |

You can heat your lever with a propane torch to soften them, and then reshape them.....the temper will return to the aluminum after a few days. Rub a bar of soap on the aluminum before you heat them. and only heat until the soap begins to darken. Also you should trace a pattern of how you want the lever shaped before you begin bending....and you can reshape without reheating as long as you do it within the same session....don't wait several hours. |
