Title: Tariffs
Post by justin_o_guy2 on 12/22/16 at 17:28:54

If Trump goes down that road, it's gonna be a Very Bad move.. Just my opinion, but I think history and common sense would say
Don't do that.

That's begging for retaliation. The smart move is slash corporate taxes.

What segment of our economy are they going to target?

Best regards,

Any trade partner we export to that we import from will be looking at
Returning the Favor.

If not directly, possibly through an ally of theirs.
We Do still export some things. We say 5%, they say 15,
What's the point of your reply?
You think tariffs will help our economy?

Generally speaking, what do we export to China?  I'm guessing agricultural products and treasury bonds....  I did not say a tariffs would benefit our economy; however, I would like to see an analysis.

China does not have tariffs, they won't let you into the country.  I'm not sure tariffs are the answer; although, we can not maintain the path we are on.

Best regards,

Remember, we owe China an incredible amout of money. That's going to factor into their decisions. I was a credit manager at a 100 employee mfg company for a while and involved in a few bankruptcies of customers. They owed us money, but if we pushed to hard, we'd get very little. If we do what we can to keep their business flowing dollars, it was better for is in the long run.

It would not benefit China to work to strongly against our economy. I expect China to play ball with us more than you think they would.

We export capitalism......

I believe the New World Order saw this as the only avenue to a commonality of global leadership/power.

Folks do not like being told they need to be of a religious or political belief....
It goes against our unique individuality at a very deep level of our being, almost as a surrendering of self.
But tantalizing them with baubles and shinning objects, oh my!
You have tapped into another deep personality trait that many are not even aware of, yet, like a thirst, they try to quench it.....
Guzzling from the cistern of the powerful who will eventually taunt you into submission, if you want another sip.....

This is gospel, and will be fulfilled.
America who sings praise to its founding, with Judaeo Christian doctrine, as proof of superiority and selflessness, is chief exporter of this toxin.

Money is power, therefor, power is money......
Together, they equal control.

Tell me, who does not like to feel in control?

I know I hold my handlebars snugly when cornering  ;D
