If I remember My history books, Roosevelt was lionized for his series of Fireside chats. Ohh, what a great communicator... But, I understand that they HAD to focus on his so masterfully blowing smoke up the collective skirts of the People, because IF the history books had told us about the Emergency War Powers and how they have intentionally kept situations going to justify maintaining the suspension of the Constitution, the Dumbmasses might just not be happy.

When WAS the last time Congress declared war?
When WAS the last time we weren't engaged Somewhere militarily that Congress hadn't Declared a war?
And yet, they Still FUND all those things.
