I've often wondered what the heck this is all about.
It seems so non presidential, and to me, childish and undisciplined.....

But I guess he uses it as a tool to usurp the media, setting the course of news cycles, etc.
Not sure how it will work over a course of time.......

On the other hand, the alternative is a press secretary (or as Rush used to call them, Chief Spear Catcher) who comes out, takes questions only from approved reporters and gives long winded non-answers. After a couple years, they leave, write books and take a network job.

I think after a while in office, he'll stop with the daily attacks on CNN and NYTimes. Not that I don't think they deserve ridicule, but he'll have other battles to fight. But, he'll always use twitter in some capacity, I cant see him giving that up. Someone will have to step in however and have veto power over his tweets and it's going to be a big challenge for him to let that person do it.

I don't know if you remember this, but when Hopey-change took office, it was hard for him to give up his Blackberry but he did. Unlike crooked Hilary, he put it aside which I give him credit for because that was his lifeline to "civilian life" so to speak.
