Title: 5th  Gear
Post by MnSpring on 11/27/16 at 17:48:39

Was  gonna say this in the, ‘’Cafe’, section.
But thought better of it.
It  references:

 Title is:   ‘5th…”

Seeing as  Bot posted it, and commented on it.
Let’s see;
Lugging the ICE, Running a Stop Sign, Speeding,
and,  ‘discovering’,  5th gear.

Guessing,   she,   Voted for  H.R.C.

Not sure I follow,.. but I found her charming...
Naivete' is not always a negative... it can bring new perspective...

Been 3 years since I rode a Savage but I remember you had to sweet talk her into 5th gear sometimes....

Which reminds me, I got into an argument with a BMW dude. Full disclosure, I owned a BMW RT1100 for a while and it was a great bike, but many BMW riders are like members of a tennis club; unbelievably snotty and pretentious. Anyway, his point was a Savage was the easiest bike to learn on. I said no way, a 650 thumper is not always easy, especially at slow speeds. This was one of those guys who had probably $2500 worth of gear on. I'll bet I've bought cars for less than he paid for his jacket. He had a $16,000 GS1200 with all the accessories. That bike never saw anything rougher than an occasional well traveled gravel road.....

I wouldn't put down this woman by calling her a HRC voter without knowing. We know Sew to be a long haired, FM listening, maggot infested hippie....., but we don't know anything about this woman other than her sheer joy at finding 5th! I'm cutting her a break.

I listen to voices. Tone is not everything, but indicative. Yes, sociopaths learn how to sound like a decent person, but she seems very open and real. Ignorance, and the girl IS ignorant, about a few things... BUT, she's Riding..and, that's a big plus for me. And the view of her legs shows she isn't a water buffalo, another plus.
Hopefully she will learn soon that 25 MPH in fourth isn't cool.
I wish I could live where Stop signs are just a suggestion.
The sound of pure joy is never a bad thing...
Well, unless it's emanating from the throat of a sick and twisted
Dr.Eeeevil, as he pushes the button to launch the missiles to destroy all life on Earth..

Don’t believe she was, naive,
About, speeding, failing to stop, general disregard for others around her.
That is a characteristic, of a certain Political Party.
(Perhaps that is why, Bot finds her charming)

Very well could be,  naive, about 5th gear and lugging.
Never met her.

I biased my, ‘thought’, on the way that video was presented,
and among other things, her lack of focus/attention, on the job at hand.
’it’s so purdy here’, ‘look at that doggie’, ‘if it is not, sorry', up-speak, aj, um, ah, um,ah,um…’

AND,  Thought it was Funny !
Saying I thought she voted for  Clinton.
(For  Bot’s benefit)

Just the same as  Bot, (just guessing),
thought it was funny, to say, ‘Start Looking’.
after I mentioned, give Trump a chance to even be in Office.

But, I believe, with the proper dosage of education & facts,
the, Millennial  affliction, she, ‘apparently’ has,
could be cured.

I'll agree with 'bot on this one....    She just needs some one with more experience to teach her ..... Rayven would be my candidate and probably more acceptable than some condescending male....
(I was at a bike stealership recently when two young ladies came in  spent 30 minutes looking at bikes and being ignored by the sales staff...)
P.S. I listen to FM ... Classical music to be exact....  :)

yes but are you also a long haired, maggot infested hippie?

( for those of you who don't know, the hippie phrase is a favorite of Rush Limbaugh and shouldn't be taken literally! )

I inherited my hairline, (or lack there of), from the Mayflower descendent side of the family.  And I even use soap during my semi-annual showers. (With hot water even !).. ::)
And I thought that his name was LimBURGER, considering what little I have heard his rhetoric.... :-?

Hippy  ?

I thought, (several here), called Bot a, Muppet?

The Avatar,
(a FF helmet with yarn glued to it, and a dark FM),
Sure looks like one.

Have seen photos many times of a person riding a MC,
which has on, such a  helmet.
And yea, They  look like a  Muppet.

Now, if one washes a Muppet, in Hot water,
Wouldn't it shrink?
Probably best to use, cold  water.
