Rumored Honda was doing away with this bike as the profit was so low. Seems the rumor false. I really prefer a "standard' riding position, with my feet underneath my butt. Unless I want a Yamaha SR400 or a Suzuki TU250......there isn't much choice from the Japanese makers (if I don't want a Dual Sport or an Adventure bike). So....Honda Marketing Department - Why is this photo supposed to make me want to buy this bike? |

I think this shot is saying I am cool, as a perspective buyer is looking upward..... As if they could buy the bike and look down on the other insecure people.... It's marketing, shallow, but rooted in scientific psychology, and it works. Look at this past elections as an example, folks are surmising the future based on nothing but supposition based on what they are being told, and fueled by a weakness in themselves...... Yeah Dave, riding with forward controls invites lower back strain, a good bump puts lots of stress on a curved lumbar instead of sharing the impact equally down a straight spine :o |
