Title: Re: Triumph Bobber Post by bobert_FSO on 11/11/16 at 06:06:24 What an obnoxious dude. 15 seconds of dicussing the bike. The rest of the time he just makes nasty comments about Triumph marketing. I couldn't make it through the entire video. This guy needs to spend less time flapping his jaw and go for a ride and get some kind of life. He has an overinflated sense of his own worth and he rides a Rocket III? I think he is compensating for something. |
Title: Re: Triumph Bobber Post by oldNslow on 11/11/16 at 06:27:13 ;D :D ;D :D ;D That was hilarious. Almost choked on my coffee while I was watching it. Quote:
:-? :-? Don't understand that reaction at all. The guy actually said in the video HE doesn't give a f**k what other folks ride, as long as they ride. Anyway,, it made my morning. Thanks for posting it, Dave. |
Title: Re: Triumph Bobber Post by justin_o_guy2 on 11/11/16 at 06:32:03 WHO he really is and the persona he projects as he slices and dices Triumph over the Bobber are probably very different. I thought it was funny, well edited, and a reasonable criticism. I would watch another of his clips. |
Title: Re: Triumph Bobber Post by bobert_FSO on 11/11/16 at 06:48:43 You guys seem to like the video better than I did. I guess I'm just tired of people acting in a confrontational manner. I think I was expecting some actual facts and discussion. |

I'm with you, (I know, if read the TT, I'm pretty confrontational there, so this is kinda hypocritical of me, I admit it) also, his initial assumption is completely wrong, the Bobber is NOT a replacement for the Speedmaster. It's not even really in the same class of bike. The bobber is a style exercise like the Harley Sportster 48 or 72, the Speedmaster is an entry level cruiser ( a pretty good one for sure though) He's just going to have to be patient for a bit longer to see what Triumph does |

Title: Re: Triumph Bobber Post by jcstokes on 11/11/16 at 11:13:52 His main gripe is the ad, and I quite agree with a lot of his comments about the ad., despite the fact that I love cats. The bike itself, I don't really know enough about bikes to comment, however he is correct when he says the front is right, the rear is wrong. |
Title: Re: Triumph Bobber Post by Ruttly on 11/11/16 at 12:17:02 Let's hope he doesnt do a Savage review ! |
Title: Re: Triumph Bobber Post by gizzo on 11/11/16 at 13:56:57 He seems like a real jerk. I couldn't watch him. Here's a much nicer triumph review. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsKFsce5phw |
