is there a kit for moving footrests back, I want to try flat bars, and this would maybe make a more comfortable riding position

You can get rear sets from RYCA.
No kits otherwise but a couple of people have fabbed up their own.

For flat or drag bars you'll need at least 4" risers or the bars will hit the tank.
