What's the deal? I went to 2 stores to get a couple of jugs of Rotella T. All they had is quart and 2.5 gallon, NO gallon jugs. I see all this new T4 and T5 stuff. Are they phasing out standard Rotella T and if so do we know if the T4 is something we can use?

I generally use T6 synthetic, but was going to switch to T so I can use the same oil in both of my bikes.

Maybe they just aren't marketing the T in gallons, and if not, I guess i'll get the 2.5 gallon jug.

Whadda yall know about this?

Maybe we have been singing the Rotella praises too loudly....and folks are buying it up and hoarding it!

I buy whatever size is on sale, and the 2.5 gallon jugs work just fine. The 5 gallon ones are a bit cumbersome - but I have saved up enough gallon jugs that I just transfer the 5 gallon pail into the gallon jugs.

My local Walmart has several gallon jugs. I did, however, see quarts for the first time the other day. They wanted $4 per quart or $13 per gallon.

Amazon has gallons and quart 6 packs of T6

Crisis averted! Must have been a wally world thing. My other auto parts store had it. Lucky for me I had a $10 coupon and the oil was on sale, so I got three 1-gallon jugs for $30 +tax.

I have noticed around here over the last 6 months or so, Wally World has been slowly getting rid of the bigger, more economical sizes of all sorts of stuff and replacing it with smaller sizes of the same thing.

Guess they've decided it's time for us to pay more since they have no competition.

I have sort of thought that it was just me but it's getting more visible.

Maybe Wally World is transferring their larger items to Sam's Club, where you can even get Rotella T in a 55 gallon drum. ;D
