Do you know if these shocks could fit the Savage?
Lenght 315 mm.

The length is 12.4" - the stock shocks are 10.5", the Cafe' bikes can use up to 13".......so these are a bit long unless you are going for the Cafe' or Street Tracker use. And this long length will most likely cause the rear axle to hit the muffler - if you still have a stock muffler on the bike.....and you may need to clearance the mounts for the lower chrome belt guard.

The Savage uses 14mm studs/bolts for the shocks - so you would need to confirm the hole size and you may need to use bushings if the holes in the shocks are larger. In most cases the shock eyelet width is somewhat standard.

To add to what Dave has said, just because the shocks may fit, they may not work for the application. Valving for damping and rebound, as well as the spring rate, all play an important/critical roll in how the shock will perform on the bike.

Nice find at any rate. I've been looking for a pair of OEM cast-off piggyback shocks that are 340-350mm (eye-to-eye). Those are darn close.

The Triumph Bonneville after market lowering shocks are 12.5" long and are a bolt on fit. They are available from Newbonneville.com. However they are I believe $400 a pair a bit pricey. :'(

The 800 intruder shocks work great on mine. Got a pair for 25 dollars same year as my bike so they even look stock.
