Title: Re: Fake Oil Tank Post by batman on 09/26/16 at 20:46:58 I always thought that if I were to make one I'd use PVC pipe .Two pieces ,one cut short for the outside ,and both cut down the side to remove a section for access ,the shorter one slid over the longer ,which would have end caps then glued in place, the shorter piece could then be rotated ,much like opening a rolltop desk. Light weight, and with a light sanding paintable.Wires could be fed in from the bottom and simply sealed with silicon ,no danger of contact with a metal tank . |
