A teenager took his family's recently purchased car out for a ride with his favorite chick. After they smaked a few joints, he decided that he needed to cover it up.

The propellant in most aerosol cans is flammable , spray enough in a small area like a car and all it takes is a tiny spark and BOOM !

1 gallon of atomized gasoline in a 10 X 10 X 10 room explodes with the force of 25 sticks of dynamite!

When I was a kid working at a grocery store I'd spray a peace sign on the floor and light it.

Just remember, as kids we were allowed to play with M80s and Cherry Bombs, real shotguns and real 22 rifles. Justin was a mild child of the 50's/60 generation, a responsible working sorta kid.

Do you know what happens when you shoot an M80 with a 22 rifle?

Ever put a firecracker in a frog and toss it into a bass pond as a way to catch fish?
Had to tell my old, retired school teacher neighbor racoon's would eat the heads off fish when I couldn't get one that wouldn't float to the edge.
Back then it seemed a normal, country boy sorta way of thinking. Now it would make the 6 PM news.

I used one CO2 cartridge and enough gas to cover it, set in a culvert, flipped matches till it lit.
Just stepped aside, no need to run.

I guess statute of limitations will protect me on this one We made pipe bombs with water pipe and capped ends dipped glue rolled in bbs several times put them in abandoned cars and yes light and run like hell for cover !!! I don't make bombs anymore I build bikes !

I may or may not have been known to throw a few M80's into some neighborhood mailboxes in my young and stupid days as a teen growing up in Chapel Hill, but as Pinocchio from Shrek would say as he tried his best to avoid his nose getting extended...

I grew up in Chapel Hill -- where did you live and where did you go to school?

Never mind, silly me, there wasn't but one elementary and one Jr High while I was there, so if you are about sixty we went to school together.

I lived close to Umpstead Park and swam each summer at the pool there. My dad managed the WT Grants store at Eastwood shopping center.

I put a hook behind the top fin on a small bream, attached an M80 to the line attached to the hook and sent him down to find his buddies.

He was a slacker though, and stopped not too far below the aluminum boat we were in.

We FELT the blast through our feet and the aluminum boat rocked some ......
