I think I got the best out of this one. Metzler Marathon ME 880, I got it in April of 2014. Put 9991 miles on it. So, does anyone know who might have tires on sale?

Bike Bandit, Motorcycle Superstore, and Chaparral Motorsports are always sending me notices about their tire sales, and I am sure they have something going on right now.

Whats wrong with that tire , looks new on the sides , still has the nubs , one hell of a chicken strip ! Think it's time to take off the training wheels ?

Actually saw that spot yesterday about 40 miles from the house, And yes, it happened to be raining at the time.

Hay Mike

We are both looking for a tire . I got 21,000 miles out of the Commander II on the rear of my Savage and only 14,000 miles out of the Commander II on the rear of the Sportster . The Sportster only got 18,000 miles out of the Front Commander II. I use the front brake for 95% of Stopping power , (front pads are easy / rear shoes are not ::) ). So now I need a front tire and you need a rear tire .

Do ya have any "FeedBack" on the Kenda K671 or K673 front tires ? :-?

I've got a Kenda K673 on the rear of my S-40 now and like it a lot (it is not wearing very fast either) . :)

MM I got nothing for those tires.

I ordered another metzler earlier today. I liked those tires and read somewhere about keeping the tread the same front and back. The front tire is barely worn.

Should be here next week.

Hey prechermike, looks like you have more tread on your tire than I do. I have gotten between 8 and 9k miles on the Shinko 712 rear and it is a good riding tire.

I have ordered and received Shinko 730 tires (the guy at Shinko said it is a more modern tire than the 712), which I need to install asap. I got the tires from Bike Bandit at a very reasonable price.

I have read good things about the Kenda tire that MM is using and he seems to like it and I believe Bike Bandit has good pricing on those also.

Mike I took your advice and ordered a metzler 888 for my front too. Should be here next Tuesday . :)

I never would have tried them if it weren't for Youzguyz --- and he seems to be smiling all the time ! ;D
