Title: I thought Kane was the smart one... Post by WebsterMark on 09/05/16 at 11:11:33 Tim Kane: "A president was impeached and had to resign over an attack on the DNC during a presidential election in 1972. This is serious business," Kaine, the Virginia senator and Democratic vice presidential candidate, said on ABC's "This Week." No idiot, the husband of your running mate was impeached. What a moron..... So we've got a technically incompetent former Secy of State who got our ambassador killed (and who should be indicted) whose running mate thinks Nixon was impeached...... Oh, the reporter who let that statement pass without an objection..... is one of the debate moderators. |
Title: Re: I thought Kane was the smart one... Post by justin_o_guy2 on 09/05/16 at 11:28:17 Hillary and HER Vast right wing conspiracy Theory. Gets a pass. If Trump had Half of the OBVIOUSLY indictable offenses , he would be in jail. Ignorance is rife, but it's odd that the reporter didn't know.. Or, just gave him a pass. |
Title: Re: I thought Kane was the smart one... Post by raydawg on 09/05/16 at 12:09:05 Stupid is as stupid does...... If you just give them rope, or shovel, and get out of their way, instead of arguing, folk will come to see they have no clothes. I know this as fact, in my own life experience. My wife pointed out, argued, etc, how my drinking was affecting our family. I turned the truth against her, or so I reasoned. I justified my drinking, even to the point of saying I know I have an issue, but back off, you are not helping, but hindering it..... I will deal with it on my own accord. Boy, did I feel empowered. I kept selfishly doing what I wanted to do, and I minimized her, even to the point of blaming part of my reason to drink, on her. Well, I pretended I had it under control, etc, lying. She walked in to the garage one day and caught me red handed putting a bottle of booze to my lips.... Ok beetch, give it to me, haven't you learned I will out argue you? She said nothing. The look in her eyes said more than anything she could have verbalized. WTF, I wanted an argument. I wanted to defend myself. I wanted.......... I was nekked. I had no one to blame my lies on. The truth stared right into my eyes.... It sank into my soul. The next day I went to rehab. I wish I could say I was so wise in going, but that would be a lie too. I thought, HA.... I will try 30 days of this BS and then come home and use it against you, so I can still do what I want. However, a few days later, all that changed, thank God ;D |
Title: Re: I thought Kane was the smart one... Post by LostArtist on 09/05/16 at 14:47:41 Nixon was impeached, as in the impeachment process had been started on him, they didn't finish the impeachment process because he resigned, but he was being impeached. He stated that perfectly correctly, Web, of course can't give any credit to anyone on the left side of Rush Limbaugh, is nitpicking to make himself feel better I guess. Bill Clinton was impeached and ACQUITTED. it's like being tried in a court of law, once you've started a trial, you've been tried, if you choose to plead out, you've still been tried. but argue semantics, sure, cause that's what's important... |
Title: Re: I thought Kane was the smart one... Post by justin_o_guy2 on 09/05/16 at 16:00:54 And Hillary was investigated but not indicted, and she's as guilty as sin. In 1974, the House Judiciary Committee recommended Articles of Impeachment to the full House of Representatives, but Nixon resigned before the House voted on the Articles. Hence, Nixon was not impeached during the Watergate scandal. Impeachment - Watergate But, believe what you will. |

Hence, Nixon was not impeached during the Watergate scandal. The only Presidents ever to have been impeached were Andrew Johnson (1867) and Bill Clinton (1998), both of whom were acquitted in their Senate trials." Link: http://watergate.info/impeachment I think Web is actually correct. No vote - no trial- no impeachment. It was close, but he got outta Dodge just in the nick of time. |
Title: Re: I thought Kane was the smart one... Post by WebsterMark on 09/05/16 at 16:05:20 okay genius, then I guess it's fair to say Hilary has been "indicted" because the FBI investigated her and had she been anyone else, they would have approached her about a plea bargin so I guess you'll join me in calling her Hilary the Indicted One. Hey Lost, what does the corn in her poo taste like? |
