I see scripture being used recently to bolster ones POV or argument.
I love it.....
It's almost Trump-like.......
Doesn't have to be accurate, or factual, but the exposure ;D

I will start a thread on biblical scripture, and how I, as in ME, perceive it.
The core of the bible doesn't change, but how it speaks to me, does.
It is predicated on where I am in my life, both physical and spiritual/emotional.

I offer you need to read it daily, consistently, and honestly.
The last, being subjective, predicated on ones motivations.

For me to say your readings and understanding should be as mine, therefore I assign yours as wrong, is like me telling a woman her perspective, as a woman, on matters, is wrong.

I don't have the capacity to do that.
It would be a disservice to myself to pretend otherwise.

Why you read the bible, if you even do, is as important as what it says to you, for I don't think you can, nor should, expect it to provide for you what it IS capable of providing, if you are not honest.

We often don't like what life brings, but is that enough to stop it?
Can we change the course of time based on our own wants and needs?

Anybody?
