Title: I got called...... Post by raydawg on 08/26/16 at 10:32:50 Yesterday evening I got a call from the DNC. I AM a registered democrat, my wife, a repub..... I would say I have prolly voted 60% democrat, 40 repub, in my life. I grew up in a working democrat family. My brothers and sister too, but they all bailed and went repub years ago. Anyway, back to my point. A lady was very nice, went through the candidates, and asked if they could count on my support/vote? I said no. She didn't hang up, or chastise me. She ASKED, if I would share why.... I replied, thank you for asking. I told her my concern on voting for regional/state/federal candidates, it might give Hillary too much power. She said, I understand. I told her how disappointed I was in the primary process, and how it makes me feel disenfranchised, and allowing those already vested, with the power, and position(s), in the party ( super delegates ) to circumvent us commoners. Man, she was nice, and even said she agreed to some extent. I told her I'll prolly cast independent, hoping enough others will as well, so we can hopefully remove the power away from two parties, that have failed the citizens, miserably. She replied, Yes, that would be nice, as it seems our system has wandered away from representing us..... DANG.....no threat of my vote, is a vote for Trump, then, nothing, nada, about wasting it, etc.... Their is hope! I wonder if she was cute ;D |

She didn't offer you free voter registration cards for 20 other people for you to vote for??? She didn't reprimand you for being a fool for being disillusioned? She didn't threaten you with forthcoming government power coming to knock at your door and coerce your support for Hillary??? Are you sure she was from the DNC????? wow, guess they are people too, and not all evil gestapo type people huh, who knew.... :-* |

If a Trump wins, it will delays change, as he, the Republican Party, platform will be the focus, argument, same old talking points, etc, as to why we are failing......and this crap just drags on to a point of no return. If she wins, and takes a majority along with her, then who she going to blame, Obama ;D The deck of cards will crumble, and that old genie can't even get an ankle back into the bottle! I know his history, and what a disaster he Could be, but I give him benefit of the doubt. I'm hoping to see a reversal of the direction. If she gets it, we won't be picking up the pieces and starting over. She's crazy and is making Russia nervous. She is a warmonger. One of the other idiots who lied us into Iraq calls trump dangerous.. And morons believe that he's dangerous and she isn't. |

[/quote] Well he does have the knack of sucking the oxygen out of a room, and the press is so smitten they forget that any other person exist..... But Hillary is so good the press dare not ask her any questions that she might not like.....or else. Trump can't keep a crew together, Hillary on the other hand has people dying for her... ;D How we ended up with these two, I'll never know, but maybe in the end it will prove to be a good thing, as folks might finally see through the crap and we toss out the whole establishment and start afresh.... I would love to see more parties, and choices, harder to divide.... |
