Title: Re: Rubber Duck Down Post by SavageMan99 on 08/15/16 at 17:18:53 Do I put the oil in the top hole or tip the bike on its bars and fill it through the bottom one? |
Title: Re: Rubber Duck Down Post by KennyG on 08/15/16 at 17:21:02 I think the first question should be; "Are your parents still waiting on the hospital to call?" Kenny G |

Title: Re: Rubber Duck Down Post by Ruttly on 08/15/16 at 19:58:49 I think Delo400 is just as good as Rotello! When I was a foreman at a truck dealership, one of my techs was doing a in frame engine overhaul on a Cat 3406E engine , I was inspecting the main and rod bearings as he was replacing them and they had no visual wear on them , customer used nothing but Delo400 , the truck had just under 1,000,000 miles ! Yeah I fired the first shot. |

Gee, I'd sure like to know... Last oil change I wondered about that. It was a whole lot of trouble turning that thing upside down. I always wondered why there was that one cap on the top. There seems to be already one to let air out and make sure its not overfull. Maybe they meant to install a dipstick, but Suzuki's engineers decided it was too much expense, so the just put a screw cap on it. Maybe it's there to prime the oil pump? So... I have to turn it upside down to fill it and then again right side up again to prime it? Boy, this whole procedure is complicated. I wish I had a simpler bike. I think I'll go buy a twin-cam Harley. Surely, only two cams must not be too complicated....After all, its only two. Only Jap bikes are complicated. What could possibly go wrong? |
