North Carolina, now police body and dash camera footage, no longer public. You know, idiots who watch it could get the wrong impression. It's confusing and misleading, yeah, of Course it is...

What was the purpose of those body cameras in the first place, except to be able to show exactly what happened?

As a kid in the '40s and '50s my family knew police and sheriffs deputies who happily never had to pull their gun during their entire careers. And these were not officers who sat behind desks either. They were respected, and they respected their fellow citizens.
