while I wait for Versy's head plug and for my temporarily leak fix to break down, I want to prepare for replacing the plug. I've read the two main threads on this procedure, and I wonder what typically goes wrong? I asked this before doing the can chain adjuster and got good answers, so here I am again.

Also, besides the plug, what parts should I order (gaskets, crush washers, etc.) and what sealant are you folks using on said gaskets these days? I gather the new aluminum plug needs no sealant, right?
