For all you wrench turners out there. What do you think of a kit form I put together and sell here for the main issues with the Savage. Example-Oil Leak Kit (will include Versy head plug, tube of gasket sealant, side cover gaskets. No more hunting for parts just one stop and you got it.

Tune up kit- air filter, oil filter, spark plug

Let me know of any KIT forms you would like to purchase and I can assemble that as well.

Plus Any Suzuki OEM parts at wholesale.

All at wholesale pricing plus a meager profit for me. Save money and time. And you get excellent troubleshooting help right here for free!

I will post pricing if interest is generated. Ex. For every 10 items I order my cost is less... Get it? :-?

It doesn't have to be a kit as such. Just a list of parts for a particular job.
Anything is better than traipsing off to the Suzuki dealer. :)

OK let me clarify a little then.

What I'm calling a kit is basically a group of parts for a particular job all at wholesale pricing.

Again let me know of a KIT or group of parts you can think of for a common job on a Savage. We all know of the oil leak, Carb kit (already available from Lancer), Tune up kit, Maintenance kit- (front brake pads, OF, AF , spark plug), ...

Others?

Common Maintenance Parts
Based on the owners manual maintenance chart...

Spark plug 12000 miles (Iridium optional)
Oil Filter 3500
Air Filter 7500
Vapor and Brake hose 4 years (but I'll extend that to every hose every 7 years)

O-rings that could be replaced are:
valve inspection
oil fill
oil filter
timing inspection
clutch cover
(red silicone rubber replacements preferred)

Head Plug :)

And numerous sealing washers.
(old ones make excellent washers on bolts/screws that normally fall off)

Brake pads 5000 ( I would never get oem... kevlar preferred 2x mileage too)

Some of these parts it's common never to replace them (sealing washers), while others are mandatory(brake pads).

With some thought, a couple of kits should sell well.

Yearly kit; 1 sparky, 2 OF, 1 AF, 1 BP
10x kit; All O-rings, HP, Hoses, BH (steel braid)

The idea is sound. I like it, but it's so easy to get stuff close by I wouldn't be a customer. A lot of guys on here like to ride but don't live close to a place to get parts. With your parts and our knowledge and pictures of simple maintainence, it could work. Just check out your tax laws, shipping regs, and gov't crap that has caused lots of grief to entrepreneurs with good ideas. Go for it! Sam Walton did and look at where he is. Oh sorry, wife said he's dead. :-[
