anyone no the reason why i keep snapping my belt? its the 2nd one Ive snapped in 4 years. or is that about right? I got the bike @ 20000kms and now its done 110000 kms

How are you adjusting the tension?
we use the quarter turn method.

Yeah thats what I thought. Ive read in hear that they should be lasting a lifetime but i just snapped my 2nd one a couple days ago.

I have seen the post about the quarter turn method in my travels so I will have a look at it again and make sure the tension is correct. thank you

May also be the area you ride, do you go through gravel? Take a picture of the broken belt...

Take a picture of the outside of the belt.....are there cracks with white shading running across the belt?

I have a used belt available but maybe I should hang onto it just in case?? I assume these things are not cheap?

Hey they may be tuffer than his belts! Ithink Iwould have read up on the finger method of adjustment after breaking my first belt,much less the second.(just me)
