Title: rear tire inflation tool?
Post by SugarBoogers on 06/10/16 at 12:00:58

I filled my rear tire the other day at a gas station, it was hard getting the filler nozzle between the valve and the hub, do these

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Car-Bike-Motor-Wheel-90-Degree-Right-Angle-Tire-Tyre-Valve-Adaptors-Extension-/172230415801?hash=item2819bb95b9:g:-WEAAOSwLnBXU1~P&vxp=mtr

help? I would think leaving them on would throw the balance out, can these be used temporarily jsut for tire filling do you think?

I think it would make a difference when filling. I'd guess not too much trouble with leaving them on, but it might throw the balance off. The fix is to get tubes with a bent valve when you get them replaced.

I have one of the identical 90 degree bends on my rear wheel and it has been there for about 5500 miles without incident.

I think I paid a lot less at Amazon.

I purposefully bought a right angle valve stem the last time I replaced my rear tire but I forgot to tell the guy which side to put it on. Guess which way it's pointed!  :(
