Hokay I scored a pair of FLST mufflers unused for $25 thank you CL.

Now what do I do?

I'll have pics once I get them into my machine. They are the classic brand new mufflers in a Vance and Hines box lol ::)

Have you read all of the muffler threads? Pretty simple install. I don't know if the FLST is a direct fit though.

Tech. section,exhaust, Harley muffler guide.....If the muffler isn't a direct bolt up you need to extend the arm on the bracket with a piece of flat steel to pick up one of the mounting bolts,

The Dyna installation works best if you fabricate or have a muffler shop make an adapter that matches the two different diameters and adjusts the angle for a nice fit. Here's the link:

Check your used Dyna's and see if the baffles are still in place, some guys knock them out.

Kris,

I wish I would have seen how you mounted your muffler before I mounted the Dyna on my S40.

Engineer,

Dave's adapter, I used a similar one, really works good and I did not have to saw off the header.
