Title: Foggy oil window
Post by Redryder652 on 05/02/16 at 20:03:50

Hey savage fellers, I recently replaced a clutch cover gasket, probably about a week ago, and noticed today that it looks like a tiny bit of condensation on the inside of the oil inspection window. I used wd-40 to aid in removing the old gasket, but I'd think it burn off by now. It is a humid day here, could this make a difference? I also kept the previous oil in the bike for the gasket change.

Okay, I just took it for a 10 minute ride, and it seems to have gone away. What do you guys think?

No reason to worry. Oil collects water vapor all the time from combustion gases before the engine is fully warmed up. As long as you ride long enough to burn it off you'll be ok.
