Title: Priorities Post by KennyG on 04/26/16 at 17:06:41 We are getting ready for one of the infamous storms of Texas. To get the second car in the garage, the bikes go in the living room and the golf cart in the foyer. Wife is unable to speak at the moment......LOL Kenny G |

Not knowing where you wife fits into your priorities.....I am hesitant to ask where you have her stashed, and has caused her to lose her voice. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by KennyG on 04/26/16 at 17:50:02 Dave, You cannot ask where she is stashed. It is nice to not hear the screaming that I expected.....LOL The golf cart wouldn't fit through the door... Kenny G |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by justin_o_guy2 on 04/26/16 at 17:55:26 What are Ities? How do I find out if I have any Priors? Prior ities.. Izzat anything like Prior convictions? I had convictions when I was younger. Much like scruples. I've since managed to rid myself of those burdensome things. But, ities, dunno if I have prior ities. Heck, I dunno if I have Current ities. Can I get a T? |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by KennyG on 04/26/16 at 18:48:10 Justin, You can get tea if you want......LOL The thunder and lightning has started....... Kenny G |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by Gus on 04/26/16 at 20:11:14 Good luck Kenny. Hope everything turns out OK. When I was younger I used to keep my Shovelhead in the house all winter. I didnt have a garage. My wife hated that thing! >:( |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by KennyG on 04/26/16 at 20:16:51 Gus, The storm is passing through for now. So far no baseball sized hail. Kenny G |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by stewmills on 04/26/16 at 20:27:37 I wish I didn't have room in my garage so I would be forced to do that. My wife would be so happy. >:( |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by justin_o_guy2 on 04/26/16 at 20:34:48 Start watching American Pickers and get excited. Fill up the garage. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by Gus on 04/27/16 at 06:40:21 Kenny, hope all went well over night there. JOG, my barn is getting full already and I'm. Not even watching pickers. I've got an 83 virago, 83 Ascot, 2mini bikes, a Yamaha 50cc scooter, a Montgomery Wards moped, 1990 Kawasaki KL250D Military bike, Yamaha 125cc dirt bike (80s I think). In the garage is the 2003 Savage & 2003 GZ250. I think I'm biked up.[ch55357][ch56841] Waiting for the weather to warm up here so some of them will start moving. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by justin_o_guy2 on 04/27/16 at 13:51:21 Montgomery Wards moped My goodness gracious! What year model? |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by Gus on 04/27/16 at 14:44:57 It's one of those made by Puch for Wards back in the late 60's- early 70's. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by justin_o_guy2 on 04/27/16 at 15:27:44 Neighbor had a black one, with white pedals. Never saw it but one time. I guess they didn't realize how fascinating it would be to the boys in the neighborhood. I don't know if they sold it or stuck it in the barn , but I never once saw it ridden. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by badwolf on 04/27/16 at 17:23:17 Start of this thread reminds me of the saying, If you hear muffled noises coming from the garage or attic, your buying that cheap Duct tape again, get the good stuff or she might get loose. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by justin_o_guy2 on 04/27/16 at 17:59:51 Wife is unable to speak at the moment......LOL That part? Duct tape? Man, that's amateurish. Gotta learn how to tie good knots. If you can't tie a bowline behind your back, you need practice. And a clove hitch is so quick.. just wow.. Those two knots will do nearly everything. The only other one that is commonly needed is the Hay hauler knot. Most people know how to do the first part, but it won't untie after use. All you need to do is throw a half hitch around the loop and isolate the knot that makes the loop from the load. Tie a bowline Throw a slip knot in a cord. Poke the end that you won't pull to untie the slipknot Through the loop the slipknot makes. Pull the end that Would untie the slipknot. Push the cord up around the end poking through. Bingo. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by badwolf on 04/27/16 at 18:48:54 If you can't tie a bowline behind your back, you need practice No, if you can't UNTIE a bowline behind your back, you need practice! |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by justin_o_guy2 on 04/27/16 at 19:16:09 Ahkin do that, two. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by badwolf on 04/27/16 at 19:23:01 Justin, If you ever get down here to S. Fla., I'll introduce you to a girl I ''know'', and we'll see. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by justin_o_guy2 on 04/27/16 at 19:52:49 Yeah, like I'm gonna let someone tie my hands behind my back... Now, you can tie a bowline and I'll hold it behind me and untie it, Or, we can do a sheet bend, kinda six of one, half duzzin of the other, That old Rabbit goes around tree thing is a waste of time. |
Title: Re: Priorities Post by badwolf on 04/27/16 at 20:20:59 When you see her in her ''working outfit'' you might change your mind. Or, she will change it for you. |

Title: Re: Priorities Post by badwolf on 04/28/16 at 06:44:22 Gus, Your right, this is not the right forum for such talk. I won't try to ''dominate'' the thread. (could not resist) (come to think of it, that's what she told me) |
