Title: HD dyna muffler installed.

Replaced the stock muffler with Harley Davidson Dyna.  Fabricated my own downsize coupler.

Nice job..
Seems like you question the idle speed. Me too.
Cool bags/lights,

Sounds good.

I'm with jog...it seems the idle takes a dive, maybe when you push in the choke? Don't let the idle get too low and lug. It's not good for the bike.

Nice.... When I did mine I purchased a cheap Chinese cover in place of the factory cover.
Also agreeing with the others.... keep that idle at 1200rpm, it is way too low, use your idle adjustment screw on the left side of the carb (sitting on it facing forward). A low idle will starve the cam of oil (top of the engine) and ruin your cam and valvle rocker. I contiuously play with mine in the winter time because it is slow when cold and faster when hot.

Good work.  I see you saved and reused the OEM heat shield.  I used an aftermarket universal fit shield.  I'm not happy with it but right now I can't remember why I didn't reuse the original.

I always wanted to know how that sounded! Quiets things down a bit. I like it! Right now mine is a loud rascal with the original pipe in place.

Liz, Good job. I am on my second Harley muff. I used mufflers for the Low and Night Train and did not rejet. I have my screw out around 1 1/2 turns and my sparkplug is showing a light brown color as it should. Mid range power is up and top end dropped about 5 mph. Be safe. Boofer
