Just wondering what the Largest tire someone has done on a stock front rim? I figure their isn't much room for this bike. I can fab a custom front fender but I usually go without a fender in the front.

I also figure a larger tire would be better to accompany the 150/90-15 tire I got on the ass end.

If you follow the chart....a 110/70 or 110/80 is the widest tire you can use - but there is no guarantee you can get that wide of a tire to fit between the lugs on the forks where the fender mounts.....or that it won't rub the top of the fork sliders.

The bigger/heavier the tire you use....the more sluggish the handling will be.

Why are you looking for a larger tire (besides matching the rear)? The stock tire will look fine and, like Dave said, a larger tire will hurt the handling.

fender but I usually go without a fender in the front.

I had a 110 on the front of this one.No problems other than fender not fitting
