Although this is "cool", from a hip perspective, HOW DOES IT FUNCTION for safety?

I would say "it doesn't".... ride-able... yes, but the microphone tail light is flush and pointed sideways.
So they would be counting on the driver behind you watching you close...which isn't going to happen.
Nice looking show bike though.... I like the lines.
I would have used some small intense LED lights for brake lights and made them part of the fender support.

At least needs to be rotated up a bit.
Even then I'd want one on the other side too.
Amber lens on the front side, couple of CREE bulbs and bob's your uncle.

their gonna have to do something with that inverted fork, at least some boots.
