Title: Gearshift rod snapped in half?! Post by Graven754 on 03/31/16 at 16:40:50 Had this happen to me today on the way home had to baby my bike back to the house in just 5th gear. It should be easy to replace just a matter of finding the part. Other forums discussing this part that has links to where to order it lea to 404s Anybody know where I can get my hand on one of these? |

If that happens, let the clutch out slowly while pushing down on the shifter. It should pop into gear gently. I sit at red lights in gear holding the clutch in to keep this from happening. You just have to downshift into first as you are stopping. Don't wait until you're stopped. |

Once a few cars are stopped behind me, I stick it in neutral, fingers covering the clutch. Watchful and ready. How I do it varies depending on traffic and where I am in the line and some lights are longer than others,, variables,,I don't Like holding the clutch... |
