I noticed on several bobber builds and Serowbot's bike, they swapped the front pegs for bike pedals.

Anyone got tips/tricks for this swap?

What should I be looking for in bear trap pedals, spec wise?

Any issues when in use, harder to shift/brake etc?

I think 'bot said he welded his. I don't think it's a simple bolt on.

I considered it a while back. It looks like it would be more comfortable considering you can angle your foot more than the stock pegs.

great idea Bot, but I sold my fab shop, including my TIG box back in '08 when the economy took a $hit and I needed the money ... :(

how do they perform?

Pedals on a bike are way cool
There is no way I'd use bear traps, though, they're shin killers
not sure if that can be done so they give when you drag a peg?

And mine have been whacked by dumb motorcycle tricks, too, that why I wouldn't put bear traps on a bike, but hey, they're your legs, and it will look cool :)
