It's a Harley event with a few sport bikes and Indians sprinkled on top but a lot of fun. I see you made it to the track, get any factory rides in?
Nice picture :)

The lightest Sportster is 540#... not what I want on the back of the motorhome, Thumper is fine.  Long lines for rides too.

HD factory is putting out "custom" bikes paint and bling, seemed to be popular.  Lots of vendors with parts and complete customs.

Lots of great looking rides...and Thumper always gets comments at lights and when parked.  8-)   8-)

I'm a local, only about 6 miles from the track. Used to head over there midweek and spend the day hopping on the factory bikes for free rides, never planned to buy any of them, just enjoyed burning up thier gas. It's cheap fun and educational. Gotta get there early before the crowds and sign up for the medium sized bikes.
Know what you mean about the custom rides, hit Destination Daytona Thursday and most of the bikes there have more money in the paint and bling than I do for my entire bike.
For the weight and power a Savage is best to carry around on the back of a RV.

I was there.  My first visit and great fun.  All those Harley's get lost in the crowd, I don't know how you would find your Harley unless you tied  a Balloon to it.  The Savage stands out.  Everyone doesn't ride one.
