I am about due to check my cam chain adjuster on my 2013 S40.

I know this question is redundant, but I cannot find the part number for the gasket that I will need and I want to order parts while they have free freight. Help.

I would expect a local shop to have the gasket. Even independent shops have gasket cutting machines.

Thank you guys.

While I am asking questions, what gasket sealer should I order. I am hoping to be able to get by without any sealer. I have seen YamaBond recommended.

I try to buy everything from a brick and mortar store when I can, but if I have to wait for them to order it and then make a return trip to pick it up they can kiss my a double scribble.

Example my Blast just needed a new battery and I couldn't find a Yuasa Maintenance Free battery locally so I purchased it from Amazon and saved $25.00......To have a brick and mortar store without inventory is just a waste of everyone's time.

Sealer for what? gasket doesn't need any.

Just in case you didn't know...

11482=generic p/n (generally the same for many bikes)

24B=savage, LS650, S40

11=revision

I got a couple of gaskets from ebay for $10.99. Just search for Suzuki savage ls650 gasket. It's a good quality gasket nice and thick and doesn't leak. I used permatex silver gasket sealer.

Works fine lasts a long time. ;D

Re-used the stock gasket, good shape, with just a whisper of permatex added, no leaks. 8-)
