MMR, Dave.... are you two guys alive? or buried under 6' of snow???

I am not seeing the drastic amount of snow that is supposed to be falling .... I think the media now days stretches the truth a bit about some of the weather...

How bout you guys take some photo's and share some stories?

I was about 14, little sis was watching Lassie.
Lassie walks off screen. Sis walks to the side, tries to see where that dang dog went. I laughed.

If I want a blizzard, I go to Dairy Queen.
I'm wearing my Blue Ring Octopus proof underwear and the shark proof T Shirt, and I stay out of the Dairy Queen.

All clothing items warranty for protection against the dangerous critters in the ocean are voided upon contact with any body of salt water .
I made a deal. They stay outta my front yard, I stay outta theirs.
I stay away from ski slopes and I EXPECT the snow to steer clear of me. But, occasionally, the fluffy stuff shows. The second year in East Texas about the late nineties, it set a record for ice, I think, and a few years ago we had some nice snow out here. The four wheeler and a little Boogie board from a time when some of my family voided the warranties on their undies and we had a Great time.

The local band was playing the theme song

Us Fla. boys should not post pictures to tease the guys up north. Give them something they can relate to. I remember when I lived near Buffalo....

No , wait ... That was me day before yesterday when I rolled my Harley out of the shop !

If it had been a ATV it could have been my son and his girlfriend out ridding in the snow today . ::) They looked just like that when they got back.

P.S. the toes in that picture two posts ago belong to one of my favorite bartenders.... she doesn't like to "show herself"... ROFL... you should see the outfits she wears to work... leaves nothing to the imagination.

Yep.....I made it through the "White Death" event. The Northern KY area was right on the north edge of the storm, and we got about an inch of very wispy snow. The wind blew it around a lot - but it was not a heavy wet snow and driving really wasn't very bad.

We went to the Cincinnati Travel Sports and Boat Show last night. We looked at some campers - I see a small one in our future, and hopefully it will be one that has a rear ramp and a place to haul a motorcycle!

WE've got a little over an inch of stuff on the ground. Unfortunately, it is mostly of the ice variety. It's mostly sleet with a little snow mixed in and on top. We had freezing rain off and on during most of the time yesterday then it changed to sleet and snow mix as it got colder yesterday.

Driving was do-able yesterday afternoon but wasn't much fun. Now that the ice slush has refrozen, and gotten more ice and snow on it overnight, I don't think there will be much moving until this afternoon when it gets above freezing for a while. The DOT around here won't do anything except to the interstates and a couple very major roads for a couple days yet if it needs it then.

Got about 3.5" here. Lots of guys with late model lifted Z71s and Super Duty trucks in the ditches.

Went by them on the Savage. Waved. Got flipped off. ;D

Tonight the low is supposed to get down to about 26 degrees F, its already 32.
I have a fountain I left running for my pets (squirrels) and I hope it doesn't freeze... it is a clay creation, so I should be able to fix it if it busts, but I think if I keep it running it should be ok.

on the few occasions we get slick stuff, I take a perverse joy in passing those turds in my
2WD daily driver (I'm not dedicated enough to ride on ice :-/)
