Title: Voltage / wattage for replacement bulbs Post by denistheruski on 12/20/15 at 14:46:03 Hi all - I need to replace one front turn signal bulb and the license plate bulb. Went over to my local O'Reilly's and they had a 12V/8W (#1157) bulb for my turn signal and a 13.5V/9.3W bulb for the license plate light. Stock bulbs are both 12V/5W (I think?). Will these cause any kind of problems if I use them? Thanks! |

Title: Re: Voltage / wattage for replacement bulbs Post by Dave on 12/20/15 at 17:27:23 Somebody is confused. The #1157 bulb is a dual filament, and fits the front turn signals fine. It is 8 watt low and 27 watt high. The rear turn signal bulb is an #1156, and the single filament is 27 watt. I don't know what the wattage is for the license light. |
