Title: Ignore what I say
Post by justin_o_guy2 on 11/14/15 at 21:46:15

But, are these guys wingnuts?
“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and money system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.” Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company.

“The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is, perhaps, the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented. Banks can in fact inflate, mint and un-mint the modern ledger-entry currency.” Major L L B Angus.
“The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it. The process by which banks create money is so simple the mind is repelled. With something so important, a deeper mystery seems only decent.” John Kenneth Galbraith (1908- ), former professor of economics at Harvard, writing in ‘Money: Whence it came, where it went’ (1975).

As Nicolas Trist – secretary to President Andrew Jackson – said about the incredibly powerful privately owned Second Bank of the United States, “Independently of its misdeeds, the merepower, — the bare existence of such a power, — is a thing irreconcilable with the nature and spirit of our institutions.” (Schlesinger, The Age of Jackson, p.102)

We can't get our house in order while the Fed exists.

Look up moneymasters on youtube and you'll learn a tremendous amount about how our monetary system evolved.  It is about 3.5 hours long though.

Best regards,

I'm pretty sure I know, I've read a near six hundred page book about it.
I just find it odd that people quote ads by the Fed and tell me it's good. Obviously not constitutional, if it is, and it can't be, but, If it was, the abject failure of it to protect the value of the dollar should be enough to create demand for the end.

My comment about looking up the video wasn't directed towards you JOG.  For those who may interested in learning how our monetary system evolved, you'll really enjoy it.  Incidentally, I read the creature as well!

Best regards,

No, ditch the Fed, simply say No, I don't owe you, and follow Icelands lead. Bankers can fit in jails.
If your kitchen was on fire, or you had a wart between your toes, when you got rid of them, what would be the replacement?
This country managed for a long time without the Fed. We grew. People prospered.
Why people see change, followed by less positive events, and call the change good, I just don't know

No JOG, it is not good.
It wasn't good when Tennessee Ernie Ford sang about it either.
Whenever you promote debt, you sell your soul.
